Digital media hackers, based in Prague.
What we are
imm studios, z.s. is a Prague-based non-profit hackerspace for people who work with media — broadcast engineers, editors, developers, and anyone curious about how television, radio and video actually get made. We share a post-production and broadcast lab, build tools we wish existed, and give the results away.
We believe media infrastructure is too important to be locked behind proprietary vendors, so we publish everything we build as open source, and we're vocal supporters of Creative Commons and the public domain — culture that can be shared, remixed and reused without asking permission.
What we build
Our flagship project is Nebula, an open source media asset management and broadcast automation system used by television, radio and VOD platforms worldwide since 2012. Nebula handles the whole chain: cataloguing and search, transcoding and normalization, linear scheduling, and playout control.

Firefly

Conti
